Many people were posting comments like the one above in a Facebook post from Ron Paul. What is even sadder is it is not uncommon to hear this from former Ron Paul supporters. They somehow equate Ron Paul to Bernie Sanders because of some superficial agreements.
A deeper look at both’s ideologies reveal that they disagree vehemently on almost everything. This idea that Bernie Sanders is anything like Ron Paulhas to be dispelled.
Ron Paul is for private property and against government interference. Bernie Sanders is against private property and for government interference in a multitude of cases.
Libertarianism vs. Authoritarianism
Liberty vs. Enslavement
These comparisons are apt to describe Ron Paul, a staunch libertarian, vs. Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed socialist.
There really is not anything more to say then this: Ron Paul supports private property, i.e. the Libertarian Ethic, and Bernie Sanders supports government interference, i.e. the antithesis of private property and liberty.
Feminism and libertarianism might not be suitable for each other. Libertarians of all shades have written about Feminism and its compatibility, or lack thereof, with Libertarianism.

The Paris terrorist attacks have caused a rift in the libertarian community. To the surprise of many, some libertarians advocate for a closed border policy. I was in shock too when I first heard of this position considering libertarianism is about natural rights, and what more basic right is there than movement?
